Dental Crowns

Your teeth are designed to last for a lifetime with the right care; however, even with the best preventive measures in place, a tooth can still become damaged. Whether due to decay, infection, or trauma, sometimes the only viable means to save it from an extraction is with a dental crown. With a custom-made cap, you can restore its health and function while improving its appearance. At Just for Your Smile, we offer the high-quality crown you need to rehabilitate your tooth.

Restore the Health of Your Tooth

Two Dental Crowns

A dental crown is a protective cap that is placed over your tooth that extends to your gum line. Your dentist may recommend one for several reasons, such as to prevent a weakened tooth from breaking; however, they are most often needed for restorative treatments.

When a tooth has become damaged, such as due to a fracture or decay, the crown will prevent the need to have it removed. It will not just protect your tooth from future damage but also restore its health and function. It is not uncommon for it to be used in combination with other restorative procedures, like root canal therapy or a dental bridge.

Now, crowns are made from all-ceramic material, allowing them to look like a real tooth. It will be made to match your exact size, shape, and color needs to blend in seamlessly with your remaining natural teeth. Due to the aesthetic benefits of ceramic, they can also be used in cosmetic dentistry to improve the appearance of a tooth that has dark discoloration or an abnormal shape.

Dr. Osseiran embraces the most advanced technology to create the high-quality restoration that you need—whether for preventive, restorative, or cosmetic reasons.
